seven
deadly sins

an art concentration project

For my AP Art class in high school, the theme I chose to concentrate on for my portfolio was the Seven Deadly Sins. This project consists of fine art pieces, in various mediums, that visually represent each of the deadly sins: pride, greed, wrath, envy, lust, gluttony and sloth. To meet the 12 piece requirement, I chose to focus on 5 subsets of these sins mentioned in Christianity: theft, drunkenness, gambling, gossip, and murder. Since most of my other projects tend to include lighter subject matter, this one still holds up as one of the most interesting, difficult, and reflective work I’ve done. Gratefully, I had the honor of receiving a 5 out of 5 score for my AP Art portfolio for 2D design.
